The circuit in the figure is suggested by ST Microelectronics (www.st.com) and consists of a gyroscope with inertial sensor MEMS LISY300AL. The sensor operates on a single axis with analog output and can be supplied with voltages between 2.7 V and 3.6 V. The LISY300AL sensor includes the sensor element and an interface capable of providing an angular measurement in relation to the outside world, through analog output voltages. The LISY300AL has a full scale of +/- 300º / s and is capable of measuring rates with 3 dB up to 88 Hz. The component used can be obtained in an LGA 28-pin housing and has several applications such as virtual reality and games, motion control, video and camera image stabilization, GPS navigation and robotics.
