Texas Instruments TPSM8663x Synchronous Buck Power Modules offer high-efficiency, high-voltage input, and ease-of-use. The modules integrate power MOSFETs, a shielded inductor, and basic passives, reducing the design size. The TPSM8663x has a 4.5V to 28V wide operating input voltage range, making it ideal for systems powered from 12V, 19V, and 24V power-bus rails. The devices support up to 6A continuous output current, whose output voltage is between 0.6V and 13V. The TPSM8663x uses DCAP3 control mode to deliver a fast transient response, good line, and load regulation, no requirement for external compensation and supports low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors like MLCC.
