This circuit was obtained in a 1991 Electronics Handbook. The publication no longer exists, but this circuit can still be assembled, since the integrated circuit 4069 is common and the transistor can be the BC548. The circuit can be supplied with 5, 6 or 12 V, depending on the relay (or 9 V as in the original if a relay for this voltage is found).
