I found this circuit in a 1986 English magazine. It can still be easily assembled, exchanging Q1 and Q3 for BC548, Q2 for 2N3055 and Q4 for a TIP31. The SCR can be the TIC106. The other components do not offer greater difficulties in obtaining them.
