This circuit was found in an Electronics Experimenters Handbook from 1983, but it can be easily assembled, as the integrated circuits used are equivalent to the 741. The power needs to be symmetrical and as the consumption is low it can be formed by two 9 V batteries. circuit is connected between the guitar and the amplifier input.
