Frequencies from 1 to 10 MHz can be obtained with a small adjustment of the variable in a narrow range, using this circuit. The transistor can be BC548 or 2N2222. The circuit was obtained in an English publication from 1980. The variable capacitor is of the type of two sections found in old radios. The output capacitor has from 1 to 10nF depending on the frequency of the output signal. A variation for this circuit is found in CB12257E.
