We got this circuit from Radio Electronics from July 1990. The circuit mimics the sound of the red alert from the movie Star Trek, with excellent volume, as the output transistor is the 2N3055. This transistor must be mounted on a heat radiator. Q1 can be a BC558 and Q2 a BC548.
