This circuit allows the measurement of very weak currents indicated on an analog instrument or even a multimeter on the lowest current scale. The circuit is powered by a 9 V battery and its consumption is very low. The accuracy of the measurement depends on the accuracy of the resistors used. The circuit is from a 1979 publication.
