This simple audio oscillator produces signals reproduced on a loudspeaker, in a frequency range determined by the setting of P1. Q1 can be any general purpose PNP for silicon or even germanium. The transformer can be obtained from any old transistor radio not in use. C1 must be tested to obtain the best performance, as it depends on the characteristics of the transformer used.
