This small unregulated power supply can supply voltages from 0 to approximately 9 V under a maximum current of 100 mA. The tension is adjusted in R2, which must be wire. R1 is 2 W dissipation wire. The transformer current is 50 to 100 mA of secondary and 7.5 V transformers can be used. The circuit is from the book Science Fair Projects by Newton C. Braga.
