This circuit was obtained in a publication in 1980. It is the traditional configuration of astable multivibrator that causes two LEDs to flash alternately. The frequency is given by C1 and C2, which can be changed over a wide range of values. The transistors can be the BC548 and the circuit powered by batteries, source or battery.
