This simple transistorized radio for the medium wave range "extracts energy from the earth" using a galvanic-telluric cell. This pile consists of a copper bar or plate and a steel (or zinc) bar or plate. The voltage obtained is of the order of 1.2 V. The coil is wound with wire 28 in a ferrite rod. The variable can be obtained from an unused medium wave radio. This circuit has the option of listening to the long wave band that in our country is not used in broadcasting. The transistor can be any general-purpose PNP leveraged from an unused transistor radio.
