This circuit is from a 1965 Argentine publication (Radio Chassis Television). The original transistors are made of germanium, but we can try the design with equivalent silicon transistors. The L1 coil consists of about 30 turns of wire 28 in a ferrite rod and the supply must be 9 to 18 V, depending on the voltage of the relay. The antenna is a piece of capped wire or a flat iron. A wire link can be made to hang on a door handle. Any changes to the polarization resistors may be necessary when using silicon transistors.
