This code switch was found in a 1990 Electronics Handbook. It can be mounted with BC558 transistors and TIC106 type SCRs. We recommend using a 6 V relay if the circuit is powered with 9, to compensate for the voltage drop in the SCR. D1 can be a 1N4002. The circuit will also operate on 12 V using a relay for this voltage. S7 resets the circuit.
