This circuit is from a 1995 Electronics Now. The sensor is a 10k to 220k NTC. R2 must have the same order of value as the NTC used. The transistor can be a BC558 with the emitter connected to the positive power line. A 6 V relay can be used if the circuit is supplied with this voltage.
