Found in a 1995 Hands On-Electronics, this circuit generates a sinusoidal signal whose frequency depends on the capacitors selected in the 15 Hz to 15 kHz bands. See the math section for electronics how to calculate components for other frequency ranges. The supply can be between 6 and 12 V. The amplitude of the output signal depends on the supply voltage. The amplitude of the output signal can also be selected in three ranges. R9 is a 1k NTC thermistor.
