This circuit transforms sinusoidal signals into squares at frequencies up to a few hundred kilohertz. The circuit is from an Argentine publication from the 1970s but can be assembled with transistors such as the BC558 and even the 2N2222 with the inversion of the polarity of the power supply and alteration of some resistors. The supply is made with voltage from 9 to 12 V and the consumption is very low. The 25k and 2k potentiometers can be replaced by the 22k and 2k2 potentiometers, current values easier to obtain.
