In fact, this circuit gives a voice effect when it is interposed between a microphone and an amplifier, imitating the voice of cartoon characters. The circuit is from a Portuguese publication from 1979 but can be assembled with BC548 transistors. Power can come from a 9 V battery, as consumption is low. The signal input and output cables must be shielded.
