With this circuit it is possible to monitor audio and RF signals in common devices such as intercom amplifiers, radios etc. The circuit has no gain control and is powered by only two small batteries. For D1, any general-purpose diode such as 1N34, 1N4148 etc. can be used. R1 can be changed to obtain the best sound quality.
