This interesting effect circuit was found in a 1982 publication. The sequence of musical notes is triggered by pressing PB1 and the notes are produced by a 555. In place of the speaker with resistor and capacitor in series we can use a piezoelectric transducer or then connect a step amplifier with a common power transistor. The circuit, in fact, can be powered by voltages from 6 to 12 V. Q1 can be a BC558. RV1 adjusts the speed of the sound effect.
