The critical components of this 1978 circuit are transformers, which, hopefully, can be obtained from abandoned devices of the time. The transistors can be more modern types like the BC558, and the power can be made with voltages from 6 to 9 V. The connection cable to the remote station can be long, but the transformer must be close to the speaker. The switch is a 2 x 2 type.
