This circuit is from an old American publication from the 70s, which is why little-known components are used today. But there are modern ones that can be used instead with diodes according to the power of the lamps (1N4007 for powers up to 100 W) and SCRs of the TIC series. D1 diode can be 1N4007. The circuit is only for incandescent lamps. Do not use another load type.
