The circuit is from old documentation from the 70s, but the components are still common, as the C106 is the GE version of the TIC106. The circuit only works with incandescent lamps up to 2 A and the adjustment pot can have the current standardized value of 220 k. Capacitor C1 can be 4.7 uF or even 10 uF.
