The oscillator shown in the figure can serve as a base for circuits of transceivers and walk-talkies operating in the 11-meter (27 MHz) range. The resonant circuit formed by the 47 pF capacitor in parallel with the coil is important to obtain the maximum signal intensity for the output. The coil consists of 6 turns of wire 28 in the form of 0.5 cm. You can use a coil with an adjustable core or replace the capacitor with a trimmer that sweeps the range of 5 to 50 pF. The other capacitors in the circuit must be ceramic and the transistors support equivalents such as 2N2222.
