The circuit in the figure provides a precision output stabilized at 10 V and makes use of a voltage regulator LM117, from National Semiconductor. The integrated circuit must be mounted on a good heat radiator. The zener is also from National Semiconductor. The circuit must be powered by a voltage at least 3 V greater than the output voltage.
