This circuit is from a 1977 timers Cookbook, but can still be easily assembled with the eventual 3130 by more modern types with JFET. The circuit generates sinusoidal and square signals of 1 kHz, being powered by voltages of 15 V, or even other values. The sinusoidal signal distortion is less than 2% and the output has 9 Vpp.
