The integrated circuit used in this 70's project is unusual, being the critical element of an eventual assembly. The circuit amplifies signals up to about 30 MHz and can also serve as a reinforcer for the short-wave band. The gain is 15 dB and the power can be provided by a battery or 6 V batteries since consumption is low. Input and output cables must be shielded.
