This circuit was found in an American publication from the 70s, but it can be assembled with more modern equivalent components. The circuit uses an LDR to detect flares and the transistors can be BF245 for FET, BC548 for T2 to T6 and BD135 for T7, triggering a high-powered buzzer or other device. The circuit can also be adapted to 12 V and the diodes are 1N4148 or 1N4002. The circuit has two settings, one normal and one fine. Capacitor C1 can be 22 uF and powered by battery or source.
