We found this circuit in the Audio Handbook of the National Semiconductor of 1977. The circuit leaves the range corresponding to the word (speech) from 300 to 3000 Hz, providing an attenuation of -40 dB per octave for frequencies outside this range. The integrated circuit used is no longer very easy to obtain.
