This tester for common SCRs was found in an Italian magazine Elettronica Prática 9 of 1977. The circuit tests SCRs like the TIC106 with a 6 V x 50 to 300 mA lamp as an indicator. The transformer has a 6 V secondary with at least 200 mA.
