This circuit uses a photodiode or a phototransistor as a sensor. When pointed at a light source it activates the 1.5 V indicator buzzer. A 3 V buzzer can be used with the change of power. The transistors can be BC558 and BC548. We found the circuit in a '90s Poptronics.
