The circuit in the figure is from a source with the possibility to adjust the output voltage from 0 to 12 V using a common potentiometer. The transistor must be mounted on a heat radiator and the electrolytics have the minimum working voltages indicated in the diagram. The bridge diodes are the same recommended as 1N4002 or 1N4004.
