The presented circuit is a sinusoidal oscillator for 1 kHz that makes use of the four amplifiers available in the LM3900, to obtain the minimum of distortion. The complete circuit is shown in the figure. The presented circuit is a high Q bandpass filter, to obtain an output with little distortion, and without the danger of displacement of that frequency. An amplifier is added to the configuration already known as a filter, to have positive feedback and thus oscillations. The peak voltage at the output will be twice the reference voltage.
