Damped oscillators can be used to produce sound from percussion instruments such as the triangle, bell, drum, etc. The circuit shown can also have the 741 in place of the original amplifier and R1 and R2 determine the sound. Their values range from 33k to 1 M, for the sounds from the highest to the lowest. The source must be symmetrical from 6 to 9 V. The circuit is from 1991 documentation.
