This receiver receives and decodes the signals from the CIR3368 transmitter. The circuit is from a 1992 Popular Electronics. Q1 can be a BC558 and Q2 can be a BC548. The headphones are low impedance, but C9 can be connected to the input of a good audio amplifier. LED1 is a phototransistor and not an LED as indicated. C7 and R7 must be tuned to the frequency of the transmitter.
