In the diagram we show how to divide the frequency by multiples of 10 using several CMOS integrated circuits. The circuit is from an English publication from 1982, but it is a well-known configuration that can be found in many other places, including publications by Newton C. Braga. The supply can be done with voltages from 5 to 18 V and the maximum input frequency is in the order of a few megahertz.
