We found this circuit in a 1980 publication. It can be applied to Triacs of the TIC series and the unijunction provides the clock for the SCR which can be a TIC106. The delay time depends on the capacitor and the potentiometer setting. The diode can be 1N4004 or 1N4007 depending on the power supply.
