This CMOS Flasher was found in a Popular Electronics from 1978. It can still be easily assembled, as all components used are common. The supply, in fact, can be made with voltages from 6 to 12 V. Pressing S1 and releasing the LED will flash for a time given by C1. This component can be changed over a wide range of values.
