This receiver is from an old publication from the 1970s. The coil has a primary winding with 100 turns of 28 or 30 threads and a secondary winding of 20 turns of the same thread in the same core. The transformer is radio output transistors and can be used with a low impedance speaker or speaker. The antenna must be long and any general purpose PNP transistor will do. The diode is germanium. A ground connection improves reception.
