Reed Relay Controlling a Triac (CB12184E)

This traditional configuration from a 1980 publication shows how a reed relay is used to control a 240 V triac. The circuit also serves for 110 V and 220 V and the triac can be any of the TIC series. The load power depends only on the Triac.
