This circuit was obtained in a publication from the 1980s. The coil can be the secondary winding of a 6 to 12 V transformer with a central socket and the frequency depends on capacitors C1 and C2 as well. The supply can be made with voltages from 6 to 12 V and the transistor can be the BC548. R4 is chosen according the load.
