This circuit is based on the integrated DAC0801 and has an accuracy better than 0.39% on the entire scale. The high impedance output with good current capacity can provide a maximum voltage of 20 volts peak to peak. The converter must be supplied with a symmetrical voltage source of 4.5 to 18 volts and the maximum current (end of scale) is 1.99 mA. The DAC 0801 integrated circuit is found in a 16-pin DlL enclosure and is not common today.
