The circuit shown in the figure differs from the previous one (CIR8909) in that it can be triggered by a pulse coming from outside. The intensity of this pulse must be considered, as in the first circuit. Another important difference to be observed in this circuit is that the output pulse (LO) is obtained at the same moment that the application of the input pulse occurs, different, therefore, from the CIR8908 circuit. The times are given by the capacitors, according to the same figure. The time t1 then depends on C1, while t2 depends on C2. The minimum values of these times are determined by the operating speed of the integrated. Values less than 1 nF for C1 and C2 are not recommended.
