This 13.8 V power supply with 10 A output is intended to supply power to automotive power equipment such as radios, amplifiers, and transceivers. Power transistors must be equipped with excellent heat sinks. It is recommended to connect a 0.1 ohms x 5 W resistor in series with the emitter of each 2N3055 to help distribute the current in these components equally.
