The configuration of this function generator is not unusual. Only the adopted symbology is European due to the origin of the publication in which we find the diagram. The circuit can be powered by voltages from 3 to 12 V and the frequency range generated depends on the capacitor. The frequency cap is around a few megahertz, depending on the power.
