This simple circuit for the mid-wave range was found in documentation from the 90s. The circuit uses a high impedance magnetic phone, and the transistor supports the equivalent. L1 has 100 turns of wire 28 in a ferrite rod with socket on the 20th turn and L2 consists of 20 turns on L1.
