Guerrilla RF GRF6412 Digital Variable Gain Amplifier (DVGA) is a SPI-controlled, 31.75dB range amplifier that provides precise stepping in 0.25dB increments. This amplifier uses a serial interface that utilizes three externally defined address bits, allowing up to 8 unique devices to share a common SPI bus. Additionally, the GRF6412 includes a special Rapid Fire™ selection pin that allows the device to be switched to a predefined attenuation state immediately. This gain amplifier’s CLK, SI, LE, RFA, and ID pins include weak pull-up resistors that bias the signals to approximately 2.5V. The GRF6412 DVGA is ideal for wireless infrastructure, automotive cellular and V2X compensators, and high-performance gain trim and AGC loops.
