This circuit delivers 7 to 12 W of power at loads between 2 and 8 ohms. It has a high frequency limiter outside the audible range in the preamplifier and amplifier to suppress interference or noise from car ignition systems. With a maximum supply voltage of 18 V, the TDA1020 is also suitable for radios, recorders and decks that operate with power from the mains. It is presented in a 9-pin SIL housing, with pinout compatible with the TDA101OA. Among the characteristics to be highlighted in this integrated we have
- Separate amplifier and preamplifier
- Internal SOAR relief and protection load that allows the circuit to take voltages up to 45 V without danger of damage.
- Protection against short-circuit at the output in relation to earth
- Internal thermal protection
- Stand-by switch for low current consumption (less than 1 mA)
