This integrated contains a Class B circuit originally developed to provide 6 W in a car radio audio stage, being able to operate with loads of 2 to 4 ohms. Its wide range of supply voltages, between 6 and 24 V, also allows alternative applications, such as radios and recorders powered by the network, with powers up to 9.5 W. This integrated is presented in a 9-pin SIL enclosure. Among the main highlights of this component are:
- Separate amplifier and preamplifier
- Low cost of extensive components
- Good ripple rejection
- Internal thermal protection
- Output protection against short-circuit in relation to earth.
