The circuit shown in the figure causes a piezoelectric transducer to emit interval beeps. The 100 nF capacitor controls the interval and duration of the beeps, which can eventually be changed. Pin 2 of the integrated circuit can be used to externally control the oscillator. The supply can be done with voltages between 3 and 15 V.
